We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented WAF Coordinator to lead the management and optimization of our Web Application Firewall (WAF) systems. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the deployment, configuration, and continuous improvement of security measures that protect our digital assets from cyber threats. Your expertise will ensure that our web applications remain resilient against attacks, maintaining the integrity and availability of our online services. Responsibilities

  • Manage the deployment, configuration, and tuning of Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions to safeguard web applications from malicious attacks.
  • Monitor real-time security alerts and respond promptly to potential threats or vulnerabilities detected by WAF systems.
  • Collaborate with system design teams to integrate security protocols seamlessly into new and existing infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of WAF performance, updating rulesets and policies to adapt to evolving cyber threats.
  • Coordinate with IT and security teams to develop incident response plans related to web application security breaches.
  • Document all procedures, configurations, and incident reports meticulously to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, especially in fire alarm systems, alarm system sales, and fire sprinkler fitting, to enhance overall security posture.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing Web Application Firewall (WAF) systems within a cybersecurity or IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of system design principles related to network security and construction inspection processes.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler fitting, alarm system sales, and fire alarm sales is a plus for integrating physical security measures with cybersecurity strategies.
  • Familiarity with construction projects involving security infrastructure is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams and documenting procedures clearly.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar are preferred. Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Knowledge management: 2 years (Preferred)
